From a child's very first lesson to advanced competitive coaching, our programs meet dancers where they are and carry them as far as they want to go. Classes run in-person and virtually throughout the week.
Younger & Beginner Dance
Our youngest dancers and absolute beginners start here. In a playful, encouraging setting, pre-teen students learn the fundamentals of Highland dance — posture and carriage, the basic Pas de Basque, high cuts, and an introduction to the music of the bagpipes. We keep these classes joyful and pressure-free, building coordination and confidence one step at a time. New students are always welcomed into the group with extra support from a teacher or advanced student.
Highland & Nationals — All Levels
Our core program covers the full Highland and National syllabus for dancers of every level, from newcomers who have mastered the basics to Premier competitors. In these classes dancers refine the Highland Fling, Sword Dance, Seann Triubhas, and the Strathspey & Highland Reel, alongside the National dances such as the Scottish Lilt and Flora MacDonald's Fancy. Because the class spans levels, dancers learn by watching those ahead of them — a time-honored way to grow. Many of these dancers go on to compete at Highland Games.
KiltKix Fitness
KiltKix is our high-energy, Highland-inspired movement class — a fun way to get the heart pumping while picking up the rhythms and footwork of Scottish dance. It is perfect for adults and teens who want a lively workout, for parents waiting during their children's lessons, or for anyone curious about Highland dance who would like a low-pressure way to begin.
Private & Appointment Coaching
For competitive dancers and those preparing for examinations or specific events, we offer focused coaching by appointment. These sessions allow our accredited teachers to fine-tune technique, polish performance pieces, and build a personalized plan toward each dancer's goals.
In-Person and Virtual Options
We know families are busy and dancers travel, so many of our all-levels classes are offered both in the studio and virtually. Virtual students join live and receive the same expert feedback, making it easy to keep training through busy seasons, weather, or travel.
